SPRING YARD & LEAF CLEAN UP
Our Spring clean-up service is the proper service to start off with after a long winter. The turf needs to be cleaned and stimulated to begin a healthy growing process. Your lawn needs to be cleaned of leaves and debris that have accumulated over the winter months. We blow out shrub beds, and congested areas, clean the leaves from your lawn and then mow & bag your lawn to get it off to good start.
TURF AERATION (One of the best things, you can do for your lawn)
Core aeration is the process of mechanically removing plugs of thatch and soil from the lawn. Aeration opens the soil, helps reduce compaction, improves water infiltration, improves rooting, reduces thatch and acts in many other ways to improve the lawn and to reduce stress. When left on the surface, cores can be allowed to breakdown and redistribute soil throughout the thatch. The soil within the core modifies the physical structure of the thatch, making it a better growing medium. Aeration breaks up compacted soil allowing water, fertilizer and air to penetrate deep which results in deep rooting of the lawn. Most turf grasses require cultivation to restrict thatch buildup and more importantly, to relieve soil compaction. Aeration should be done in the Spring and/or Fall. Core cultivation is not a substitute for dethatching! Lawn & Turf uses the best Aerators available; no one does a better job of aerating. The aeration process will leave plugs of thatch and soil on the lawn but these will decompose in a few weeks. Mow and water your lawn normally. If you have a underground sprinkler system, all heads need to be marked before the service can be performed.
POWER RAKING (DETHATCHING)
Power Raking (Dethatching) is great a way to remove the dead debris and thatch that builds up in your lawn. Power raking is also a great service to combine with Aeration to get your lawn off to the best possible start in the Spring. Power raking knives slice into the turf removing thatch and stimulates new growth, thereby improving and making for a healthy lawn. Power raking is also an effective way to reduce thatch buildup, but it does not have the soil stress alleviation effects of core aeration. Combined with Aeration, it provides one of the best methods of improving your lawn. Power Raking can be done in the spring and/or fall. We have power raked more lawns in the Twin Cities than any other lawn care company.
SIDEWALK, DRIVE AND CURB EDGING
Power edging of your concrete walks, driveway and curbs will give your lawn a neat clean appearance. Clean lawn edges along concrete surfaces which adds to a well-manicured appearance. If you have not had this done recently, you will be surprised at how much this improves your properties appearance. Our crews utilize their skills and experience throughout the growing season providing this service. We recommend that you have this service performed monthly.
SHRUB PRUNING & SHAPING
Our skilled pruning crews will prune and shape your shrubs to your satisfaction. We also do hedge pruning, and can tame the most over grown hedge back down to your desired height. Pruning on a regular basis will not only keep your shrubs healthy and neat, but also improve the appearance of your property.

We use professional fertilizers formulated for Minnesota lawns that are safe and effective.

We prepare your lawn for winter by removing all leaves and debris. Your lawn will go into the winter months in the best shape possible.
SNOW PLOWING
We offer snow plowing for you driveway or businesses throughout the Metro area. We constantly monitor the weather and prepare well in advance for any projected snowfall. We have several snow plows that are well maintained and are ready to go whenever a snowfall occurs. Our company and our drivers have years of experience plowing snow and working during the toughest snowfall events. We work throughout the night to make sure your property is ready for the days business or just to make it out the driveway. We can work with you on when you would like your property done on our schedule with our other customers.
